It will be helpful
for us to know a little about the nature of the illness, the
overall condition of the patient and the location for the
concert. Swan Songs concerts have taken place in a
hospital, residential hospice facility, private home, nursing
home, assisted living center and even in a local nightclub.
If it is appropriate, we encourage the family to use this as an
opportunity to gather together and invite a few friends as well,
to share the experience with the recipient. We have
professional photographers available to capture the event, also
at no cost to the family.
Quite often the
request is for a style of music or particular instrumentation
instead of a specific artist. Central Texas is overflowing
with eclectic and accomplished musicians so the sky's the limit.
We love a challenge - just ask and we will make every effort to facilitate the request
and fulfill their musical wishes as soon as possible. It
typically takes from 3-10 days to facilitate the scheduling, but
we can accelerate the process if necessary.
