Swan Songs Portland, OR is excited to begin fulfilling musical last wishes for our neighbors and supporting our local music community!
We are proud to be the first local affiliate of Austin, Texas-based Swan Songs, which has been gifting private concerts to individuals near the end of life since 2005 –– and financially compensating musicians for performing those concerts.
With extensive training and support from our Swan Songs friends in Austin, we're now gearing up to present our first concerts in local homes, hospices, and other care facilities.
Whatever your availability and experience, there's a way for you to support Swan Songs Portland OR's important mission. So please let us know how you want to help today!
And as an all-volunteer organization, Swan Songs Portland, OR is counting YOUR help to get off to a strong and successful start.
- You can volunteer in a variety of ways –– serving as a concert liaison, helping out with fundraising, raising awareness of our work in the community, and more.
- If you are an end-of-life care professional, you can join our referral network to bring Swan Songs concerts to the people you serve.
- We're also looking for professional musicians in every musical genre to perform at our concerts.
- And you can make a tax-deductible donation to help compensate the hardworking musicians who fulfill musical last wishes.
